Here at Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventures we welcome all and strive to make our attraction as accessible as possible to all of our guests.

The following information is designed to answer any questions you may have on your upcoming visit to Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventure. You may also find answers to more questions via our Frequently Asked Questions page.

Visitors with Disabilities

Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventure welcomes all. For more information please read the accessibility guide below:

Visitors with reduced mobility

The Treetop Walk is accessible for people in wheelchairs. There is only stair access to the Knights Tower. All other amenities at Illawarra Fly are accessible.

Carers and companions

Anyone accompanying a person with a disability and holding a valid carer or companion card is entitled to free entry. Please just show your card upon entry.

Visitors with Visual Impairments

Illawarra Fly is an accessible venue. Assistance animals are welcomed .

Seating is available at intervals throughout the attraction

Accessibility guide

TREETOP WALK
  • Our Treetop Walk is wheelchair accessible excluding Knights Tower.
  • We do offer a courtesy cart to help people down to the walk and back again however this is not accessible if the guest is in a wheelchair.
  • For guests who do have difficulty walking we advise online to contact the attraction for advice.
ZIPLINE
  • This is a case by case basis and depends on the type of disability.
  • Each guest will need to pass a physical assessment.

Visitors with Reduced Mobility

There are 6 designated accessible parking spaces available for your use. Please be aware that availability may be restricted during peak times.

Our Treetop Walk is wheelchair accessible excluding Knights Tower. There is a decline and incline to travel to and from the Treetop Walk structure itself from the Visitor Centre. We do have a courtesy cart available however this does not have a wheelchair lift.

Visitors with Sensory Sensitivity

If you would prefer your visit to be less crowded and loud, we recommend you visit during the week (outside of school holidays), early in the morning or late in the afternoon. This still allows you plenty of time to enjoy the full benefits the attraction has to offer.

Visitors with Visual Impairments

Illawarra Fly welcomes assistance dogs in our attraction. Your furry friends will have a great time with you!

Zipline Tour Accessibility

Our Zipline Tour accessibility varies on a case to case basis. To find out further information or for any questions, please call us at 0400 834 945 or email us at info@illawarrafly.com for us to best accommodate your booking.

Carers & Companions

Illawarra Fly offers free entry to carers or essential companions of people with disabilities. We accept the national Companion Card.

Carers are able to pre-book a ticket by using the link HERE The carer must provide a valid companion card. In the Booking Type option select "Other" and then list Companion Card or Carer in the section below.

If you are a Merlin Annual Passholder and have additional needs that require assistance on your visits to our attractions, we issue one complimentary Merlin Annual Pass per Passholder with disabilities to be used by any carer. Apply for a Carer Pass here. 

While going through the booking journey enter in the following codes when prompted to finalise your booking.

Toilet & Family Facilities

There are accessible toilets available for your convenience which are located at the Visitor Center. Changing facilities are also available. 

We would recommend visiting the bathroom before your visit to ensure you have the most enjoyable experience possible.

Seating

Bench seating (without back or armrests) is available throughout the Treetop walk Experience.

Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventures recognises the need for this website to be accessible to all. We have implemented a number of features to make this website easy to use, especially for users with disabilities.

This website aims to conform to Level A standard of the W3C’s Web Accessibility Initiative’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. It also includes many features found in AA sites such as colour considerations and easily resizable fonts. We will continue to make improvements and make sure this website conforms to these guidelines.
