construction phase
- Commencing in September 2007 and completed in February 2008, the Treetop Walk took 6 months to construct.
- A crew of 6 assembled and erected the structure on site
- There are 10 support towers
- Each span is 40 metres between towers
- Each tower contains 3 support cables for stability
- Approximately 400m3 of concrete was used for the footings
- A soft footprint… many will experience the forest but none will touch the ground
