Wollongong

There's plenty to see in and around Wollongong

Well known for its natural beauty – Wollongong has so much to offer, come and experience it for yourself!

Visit the beautiful harbour foreshore area and admire our lighthouses – we’re the only place on the east coast of Australia that has two lighthouses.

You can ride your bike along the stunning cycleway, enjoy a locally brewed beer at the Illawarra Brewing Company or a locally brewed coffee from one of our many café’s. If you're after a feast, be sure to stop in at His Boy Elroy, offering gourmet bites, burgers and cocktails! Check out the current exhibitions at the Wollongong Art Gallery, take a stroll through the Wollongong Botanic Garden, visit the Nan Tien Temple - the largest Buddhist temple in the Southern Hemisphere, enjoy the views from high above at Mount Keira lookout or if you’d prefer to jump out of a plane, Skydive Australia has got you covered!

Take a drive along the Grand Pacific Drive which covers 140km of beautiful coastal scenery including the Sea Cliff Bridge and the Bald Hill Lookout! While you’re up that end of town you can visit Symbio Wildlife Park which has a variety of amazing animals to see plus an awesome splash park to enjoy in the warmer months.
